Sterling H. Jones Jr. is the President & Founder of Showtime Sports Management Inc. Born in Los Angeles, California, Sterling was inspired to become an entrepreneur at a young age by observing the hard work and determination of his mother.

 

He attended Beverly Hills High School, where he was actively involved in football, basketball, and track. After high school, Sterling pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, graduating Cum Laude for his academic achievements.

 

Sterling is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and has held leadership roles in The Fraternal Order of Classy Gentlemen: Sigma Rhomeo Inc., serving two consecutive terms as the National Treasurer, one term as the National Vice President, and as the organization’s Public Relations Director.

 

He has also completed the Athlete Management and Baseball Agent courses through Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW). His professional experience includes an internship with the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2005-2006 NBA season. With over a decade of experience, Sterling has successfully represented professional baseball players in the Minor, Independent, and Winter Leagues.

 

Fluent in Spanish, Sterling has worked with players from the United States, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Panamá. His passion for sports management drives him to help clients reach their full potential as professional and amateur athletes.

 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Sterling is committed to giving back to his community. He focuses on supporting families, promoting self-sufficiency, and building safe neighborhoods. He also plans to establish the Cameron H. Matthews Scholarship Fund in memory of his late cousin, aimed at assisting college students diagnosed with cancer who aspire to complete their degrees. Additionally, Sterling is an advocate for breast cancer awareness.
